About Us

School Established in 1995

Here at Sheila's In Home Learning Program, we provide a happy, creative environment that allows each child to develop at his/her own pace. The program emphasized the love of learning in a non-competitive surrounding in which your child may select from a variety of choices. These learning materials, as well as the experience of the interaction on the cognitive, physical, ang psychological abilities. The value of play in its various forms are an important learning opportunity in the program. Activities are divided into the following areas:

  • Practical Life

Tasks are realistic-chores of daily life, focusing on developing control over motor skills (ex: pouring, sponge squeezing, scrubbing, buttoning, learning to tie a shoe, etc).

  • Sensorial

Refines the child's sensitivity and perception (ex: identifying big and small blocks, working with puzzles).

  • Language and Math

Initial Sound Box, knob letters, sandpaper numbers, story telling, dramatizing songs, and computers.

  • Cultural

Introduction to the world's sciences, art, and music.

No worries! You DON'T need to take time off from work for teacher conferences. My staff and I are here to discuss your child's needs at anytime.
